“There’s no place like home”, we’ve heard the common cliche phrase throughout years; our homes are often a reflection of our inner personality and character. The beauty and characteristics of Interior design does not happen by chance. It takes one who is skillful to make the blend come true, an observant individual to understand the client’s personal traits and a willing heart & mind venture into striving the best for the homeowner.
Deep in Yvette’s heart, her designing motivation is run by the valuable lessons from her past experience while taking feedback seriously and humble-ly. To her, learning is an essential and it is one of the foremost aspects to keep her going and help her exceed in her career.
In her 10 years of career with Rezt+Relax; she has always made homeowners’ dreams come true by her artistic point-of-view in Interior Design, mainly in the Minimalist Luxe concept. Turning each Interior space to its balance for both aesthetically as well as functionality. While creating these stunning spaces, she make sure every aspect in the Interior Design process is well-planned, carefully explored and suits her client’s budget.
Formally educated at the Stamford College, Yvette Hong immediately set her sights into following her dream job in becoming a full time interior designer. Few years ago, an opportunity opened up here at Rezt ‘n Relax, Singapore’s premier interior design company and the company has since provided her the right avenue to realize her dream job. In fact, it took her only less than a year to become a senior designer.
This Malaysia-born designer does sketch art in her spare time and nothing motivates her more to wake up every day than to put her creativity into practice. It’s been close to 5 years now since she joined Rezt ‘n Relax and she has clearly no plans of slowing down.
She understands the highly competitive nature of the interior design industry and to make sure she keeps up with new trends, she scours the internet and reads home improvement magazines for inspiration. And as an avid traveller, she also gets inspired by the different architecture and foreign designs that new cities offer.
